Skinner Brothers Wilderness School 

This site has been created to share stories and memories of Skinner Brothers Wilderness School and Outfitting that operated in the Wind River Mountains near Pinedale, Wyoming, from 1956 to 2004. I hope you will share your story.   

Our family moved to Pinedale in 1975 and rented Clem & Vi Skinner's house. Bob & Doris were our next door neighbors and Ole & Karen lived across the field. My husband, Rollie, was the high school math teacher. After we built our own house, we lived down the road from Courtney.

I have always thought the Skinners were and are an amazing family. With Holly Skinner's expertise and your stories, we hope that there will eventually be a book written about them.

You can add your story by going to 'log in' - password (the oldest living brothers first name) - create new page - type or paste in your memories - save. Then click on 'Side Bar' - Edit page - put cursor on the white area to the left side - then click on the title of your story in the blue area on the right - SAVE.  This might not work because pbwiki has changed their security, so  just email me at juditmy@hotmail.com and I'll do it.
